Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins

The anticipated sequel to Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door. I was so disappointed in the sequel as I had very high expectations. However, I thought it was a cute love story with very vibrant and descriptive characters. Every time Andy and Nathan (the gay couple that raises Lola) appears in the picture, I immediately thought of Mitchell and Cameron from Modern Family.  I mean who wouldn't! They are America's favorite gay couple! I couldn't cast them 'officially' because the personalities didn't fit. I so wish they had.
